Request Design Access

If someone shares a design with you and you can’t view or edit it, you can request access from its owner. To request access:

1. Open the design link shared with you. Make sure you’re logged into your Canva account before opening the link.
2. Click on Request Access. We’ll send an email to the design’s owner notifying them of your request.
3. After the design owner gives you permission, you’ll receive an email notifying you about it.
4. From the approval email, click on Open design to access the design.

Note: If the design is shared with a team and you’re a member of it, check first if you’re logged into the correct team. If not, switch teams to access the design.
